Frequently Asked Questions

Straight answers on what we build, how engagements run, and what production AI in your stack actually costs.

Working with us

  • What is Monsoft Solutions?
A small AI engineering lab that ships production systems into the stack you already run — agents, automations, voice, integrations, and web apps. Not demos. Systems your business can run on Monday morning, owned by you.
  • Who do you typically work with?
Ops leaders at 20–200 person services and B2B SaaS companies, CTOs at 10–80 person product teams, and IT directors at mid-market businesses modernizing legacy operations. We work with clients in the US, EU, and LATAM.
  • How is this different from hiring an agency or buying another SaaS tool?
No proprietary platform and no lock-in. Code and infrastructure deploy in your cloud from week one. No demos. No pilots that quietly die. If we are not the right fit, we will tell you who is.

What we build

  • What kinds of systems do you build?
AI agents for triage, intake, and scheduling; automation pipelines on Temporal; voice interfaces for phone-heavy businesses; web and SaaS applications; and systems integration for legacy SOAP, EDI, file-drops, and custom APIs. See /services/ for detail on each.
  • We already have a backlog of "we should automate that" items. Where do we start?
Bring us the list. Send a brief at /contact/ , we scope it on a 30-minute call, and you get a one-page proposal by Friday. We help you pick the highest-leverage item to ship first.
  • Can you work with our existing tools and legacy systems?
Yes — Salesforce, HubSpot, Postgres, Snowflake, custom ERPs, SOAP, EDI, and webhooks. One team for the AI layer and the plumbing. When the off-the-shelf connector ends, we begin.
  • Do we need an in-house engineering team?
Not to start. We hand off with documentation an engineer can read in an afternoon, plus runbooks for failures we already saw. A quarter on retainer is included; after that, your team runs it or we stay on call.

How we work

  • How does an engagement start?
Send a brief at /contact/ . A real engineer replies within one business day — not a bot, not a drip sequence. Then a 30-minute scoping call, then a one-page proposal by Friday with what we would build, what it costs, and what it does not.
  • How long does a typical project take?
Three weeks to a working system, six until your business runs on it — for a focused first build. Larger scopes (for example a full AI agent rollout) often run about six weeks. We quote timelines in the proposal.
  • Where does the software run — your cloud or ours?
Yours. Deployed in your AWS or GCP from week one. Your data stays in your perimeter. In your stack. In your cloud.
  • Who owns the code and infrastructure when you are done?
You do, from day one. Repository, infrastructure-as-code, runbooks, and keys — no proprietary runtime. Owned by you.

Pricing and engagements

  • How do you price projects?
Fixed-scope quotes for build work: agents from about $18k, integrations from about $15k, web and SaaS from about $25k. Consultancy is billed hourly from $100/hr. Every proposal states the cost and what is out of scope.
  • Is there a minimum engagement size?
Build engagements start around $15k. Smaller scopes fit consultancy hours. Below that, we will tell you who is a better fit.
  • Do you offer ongoing support after launch?
One quarter on retainer is included in the standard handoff. After that, optional support or you run it yourself. No mandatory subscription.
